UPDATE at the bottom: IT'S NOT DISCONTINUED!!!!!!

So I just received an email regarding a San Patrick's trunk show at Pronovias Flagship on my birthday (the 27th). I figured, let me call up, see if my dress is there and see what price would get ordering through the trunk show. The lady at the store tells me:

'Oh, we are no longer carrying this dress because it's being discontinued'

So I immediately call Monica's Bridal (which is where I have an appt on the 24th and where I will be ordering my dress from) and I told the lady I heard San Patrick is discontinuing my dress. She told me that they still do have the sample in the store and what she will do is call San Patrick to see if and when they are discontinuing and if I will be able to order the dress. If i call up and it turns out they are, I may even just take the sample they have in the store, that's how much I want this dress!!!!!

Please pray that they are not discontinuing the dress!

Oh no!! Can you go and order it thsi weekend before it gets discontinued?

well I am just going to wait until this afternoon to call the girl back at Monica's Bridal and she what she found out. If it turns out it is being discontinued and I won't be able to order it I am taking my mother on Saturday by ourselves and we are buying the sample!

Oh no! fingers are crossed for you!

Thats why I put a deposit down on my dress 2 years in advance so that if it does get discontinued the store calls me right away and I can order it.

I know this is stupid but can you call the store and have them call and bring a new dress with them to the trunk show?

doubtful. What scares me the most about it is that it's the Flagship store telling me it's being discontinued! Although maybe that just means because they are the flagship and they need to carry the newer dresses that they themselves aren't carrying the dress anymore. Maybe the smaller bridal salons will still be able to order.

I really have crazy knots in my stomach right now... I am going to hold out until around 3 to call and see if the lady found out anything.

You should go right now to the store and try it on. You don't want the sample, they are usually distroyed!

well I've already tried it on... we were going back on the 24th and bringing my BMs and FMIL with us so I can show it to them and place my order. Depending on what this lady tells me when I call I may just say forget everyone else and me and my mom will go this weekend

Oh no!! I'm so sorry this is happening to you!

This was one of my fears when I found my dress... I didn't want to order to early but I went ahead anyway just in case....
