I missed it too but I got the gist. Stuff like this *****... I had to send a letter a few years back and it ended the relationship as it was. We still see each other socially, and are friends on a superficial level, but nothing like we were.
If the relationship isn't strong enough to withstand a bit of truth, then it wasn't worth having anyway. I'm so sorry you've having to go through this. Keep us updated and hang in there!
