UPDATE!!! Does anyone ever....

Second guess their RH? Right now thats where I am. Im stressing over whether or not me jumping into the vip country club was the right choice. This was the first and only RH I saw and at the time I knew I wanted it right away, but now I just dont know. Has this ever happened to you? I dont wanna go back to the place, and then realize that I totally hate it.

UPDATE:
I recieved an email from the guy (tom) that i saw when I went to go give my deposit. I think it was sort of cheesy... idk what do you ladies think? I was sort of expecting something like come by anytime and we can look at your contract and see what we can do to make you happy... but NO. Here's what he said:

Of course I am, I have no choice though. We can't afford alot, and that was what we could afford. I wish we could go some place nicer, but we can't. I guess it's not so much as second guessing, but regret for not being able to afford a nicer place :( lol

I feel like i should have gotten a plainer place and saved the majority of the money for a partial down payment on a house. Right now droping almost 40k for a wedding seems a little absurd, and I dont think VIP is into any types of compromises.
When I first booked for a saturday they threw in chair covers at no cost. then when I changed it to a sunday, they said they had to take back the chair covers cause I wasnt going to be paying as much as they thought... That was a major RED FLAG. Right now im thinkin, which way to city hall!!!!

ETA: How stupid I am to not have seen the darn red flag....

I would fight for the chair covers. If they want your money, they should work with you a little.

Aww. I'm sure your place is going to look perfect on your wedding day. Besides it doesn't matter where you get married its all about having the people you love and care about and who love and care about you sharing the day with you. As long as you have food, drinks, music, cake and family and friends how could it not be a perfect day :)

If you dont mind me asking, where is your RH?

Oh my goodness, I do everytime I think about the wedding. I should have never booked my RH without seeing it. But I have been assured it is going to be pretty.

I think whenever you are spending so much on something it is totally normal to have seconds thoughts.

However if I could find a reasonable place for a Saturday night, I would ditch my RH in a second!

I wish there were more brides here that have had their RH where im having mine. I havent seen much of anything. Makes everything more stressful. I would rather know if my place is awful than not know and have to experience how awful it is.

Well I dont know how I would approach going... Like what am i supposed to do, show up and be like well im here cause I wanna see the place again.... IDK ill feel all stupid I dont want them to be all nasty like oh you saw it when you booked it or something. By what i meant by my previous post was that I wanted reviews from other ppl about how the place really is during an event. like know before hand what people are saying about the place.

I'm at least going to see mine in December when I go up to NY for interviews/visit the future rents.

Hopefully I'll feel better after I see it though!
