So originally we were going to go to Bora Bora for our honeymoon but I feel like we have so many expenses now that I'm thinking twice about a 15k honeymoon. I just feel like everything is pilling up - we have so much left to pay for the wedding, then with the car accident and buying a new car, having $ for the closing costs on our house which will be probably in a month or so, my FH taxes will be due (he's self employed so he pays everything in april) & I know if we were getting married in like Septemeber - everything would be spread out and we'd be fine but everything kinda just happened at once and I know that we'd be better off (financially) going somewhere closer and for 1/2 that price and we'd have an awesome time. It's just I know its your honeymoon and we'll probaably never go again to BB - but at the same time I dont want to be selfish - I know after the wedding we'll be fine, money wise its just crunch time now and im so stressed out about all the expenses. ok just needed to vent!
Anyone in a similar boat?
ETA: I just spoke with FH - We decided to wait till July and go on our dream HM to Bora Bora :)

i saw your update and i'm glad you can work it out!
we are doing a week at Sandals St. Lucia for our honeymoon (we wanted somewhere we could relax by the beach, all inclusive, etc) and we're doing a bigger trip to Europe next year after the bar exam which will coincide with our 1 year anniv.
We'll have more time next year (this year we're limited to a week because FH will be taking off a bunch of time for the wedding since we're OOT and since I have school) and we should have more $$$ next year.
Maybe you can do a small weekend trip for your mini honeymoon but I'm glad you can still do BB
