So I just found out that tomorrow will be my 1st day of interning at Mineola HS as a school psych. I'm excited to be doing it, but I'm always nervous getting into new situations! I also have to go out shopping for clothes today since my old work clothes no longer fit me (went up a size over the summer) I cant believe this is finally happening and its sooo scary to be going out in the 'real world' Ahhh... Just had to vent!

Thanks for listening girls! I went to the bar tonight to watch football and more importantly drink my sorrows away... I'm hoping tomorrow will be better, but FH told me just to focus on gettin those hours and screw everything else.. i only wish I could have his attitude I'm waiting for him to hit it rich or become CEO so i can stay at home and not deal with the bull

from what i noticed, women especially, feel threatened when someone younger and college educated come into an office...they always look at it like youre sassy and think who you are.
I dealt with that-in 2 different jobs. Forget her. Shes going to try to make it miserable for you. Try to find projects or talk to someone over her if it gets bad. thats what i did. Im not a snitch but sometimes it gets too bad to deal with.
Honestly I prefer working with men. There are 2 women where I am now, me being one of them. The guys are catty at times, but i like it alot better.
