UPDATE: I think I might be in trouble! Good News/Bad News

My boss asked me to lunch today! The last guy he took out got canned! wish me luck

I am back from lunch & it went ok- good news and bad news- so first the good news- I am now the Assistant Director of the Department and I got a pretty good raise so yay for that..

and the bad news- in our department, there are 2 managers me and another guy & everything is split down the middle.. so he's been here 10 years and was actually my boss at one point- but his numbers have been really bad the last two years and they are firing him i'm sad because I really liked working with him.

lunch is at 12:30- so i'll be back around 2-2:30pm with an update!

eta- thank you all for being so nice & supportive... i cant tell fh because he's a nervous nelly & will probably have a heart attack or something

i hope its good news!!!! i also was wondering what denise asked- does he ever take anyone to lunch and NOT fire them? i hope its for a raise!! good luck! if you feel its not going well and he is starting to can you then order the most expensive thing in there and tell him to kiss your a*s!!!

I am certainly sending you positive thoughts. He better now even think of it or he will have a gaggle (I never get to use that word often) or brides to be marching over there to kick some boss booty)
