So, I posted a thread a couple days ago asking if you thought that $400 (informal estimate) was too much to pay to get my hairdresser to travel an hour and do my hair and one bridesmaids hair...
Guess what! I was STUNNED when I got the formal estimate..... $851 you've got to be s#!tting me.... Sorry, I may be loyal to her, but that's just obscene.
This is the ridiculous breakdown: $295 to do my hair outside the parlor $95 for the BM $56 for milage
Oh, what's the other $400 for? Apparently it's a 'I have to wake up earlier than usual' fee. You've got to be kidding....
Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit LESS loyal now! Looking around for someone else...

I am thinking she really doesn't want to do it, and gave you a ridiculously over inflated charge so that there is no way you would use her!!! Instead of her just saying 'thanks, but no thanks'..sorry to hear!

Yeah, I think 5 years or so.... not taking it personally... I just wish she said 'can't travel so far...'

I grew up in Port Jeff, have you checked out Katherine Jon Salon in PJS? Hair Port in Port Jeff Village? I've been to both several times for up-do's, they're very good. Since it's just you and one BM, do you have to tell them it's for a wedding?

Ok im a hairdesser and im going to tell you thats bull ... The 400 for waking up ealry o ******* well sorry ..Thats her job she just doesnt want to do it .. If she would have said shell be losing money from not being in the shop thats one thing but not no 400 dollars trust me look around theres alot of good shops out there ... sorry thats just hoe i feel
