I invited 20 guest no including my bms and myself. (including us is 25)
so far I have 3 yeses 1 maybe and 6nos 10 girls did not reply.
at this rate I dont think I'll have anyone at my shower this saturday
I've never felt so depressed
everyone was like sorry I have work that day.. why cant they take off work for me.. or atleast try.
I need some hugs and cheering up
[ U P D A T E ] I really dont know what to think,, look at my list now... i havent gotten any yeses.. at this point I dont even want to have the shower.. (I dont even have any family members to come to my shower and my FH only has his mom) we thought it would be odd if his mom is the only adult so we decided to have a shower with just friends. now look at the list =[
can you contact the 10 girls who did not reply yet? find out their answers, who knows they might be coming or some of them
so sorry about the situation. I am sure some would've loved to take off of work but sometimes it can be difficult. There are times when you really cant take off, it has nothing to do with you so dont take it personally

Who is throwing your shower? Did they not send the invites out in enough time, or do a lot of your friends just tend to work on saturdays?

Only 4 members of DH's family came to my shower... it ended up only being about 30 ladies total but I would not have wanted it any other way! I was with the people I am closest to and that was the BEST part!

my BMs are throwing the shower(i'm helping them) and we sent them out in the beginning of June. we thought 2 weeks was pently of time..
could i still have a great shower with 10 people? =[

I feel your pain!! My mom invited 60 and we have 25 yes so far. 0 on his side. They are not coming because of family problems.
