I invited 20 guest no including my bms and myself. (including us is 25)

so far I have 3 yeses 1 maybe and 6nos
10 girls did not reply.

at this rate I dont think I'll have anyone at my shower this saturday

I've never felt so depressed

everyone was like sorry I have work that day..
why cant they take off work for me.. or atleast try.

I need some hugs and cheering up

I really dont know what to think,, look at my list now... i havent gotten any yeses..
at this point I dont even want to have the shower..
(I dont even have any family members to come to my shower and my FH only has his mom)
we thought it would be odd if his mom is the only adult so we decided to have a shower with just friends. now look at the list =[

the green - coming
yellow - maybe
red - no.

Who is throwing your shower? Did they not send the invites out in enough time, or do a lot of your friends just tend to work on saturdays?

Don't worry- no matter what Im sure it will still be a great shower!!!!

my BMs are throwing the shower(i'm helping them) and we sent them out in the beginning of June. we thought 2 weeks was pently of time..

could i still have a great shower with 10 people? =[

Similar thing happened to me. All of DH's family came, but none of my friends and family could make it for all kinds of reasons. I was so upset about it, then I realized that at least they will be at my wedding. I know how you feel though. I had about 6 people there in the end, and about 20 of DH's family.

I'm sorry this has happened. However, 2 weeks notice wouldn't be enough time for me to take off from work, and maybe it's not enough time for others you invited. Is there a way that you can maybe change the time or date?

I am so sorry. Maybe people couldnt take off with less than two weeks notice. Either way, you will have people there that care about you and your shower will be great.

I do feel that people SUCCK because they dont know how to respond to things. IS it that hard to send a response or call you???

10 people is the perfect number for a shower. Do not fret!! They obviously love you very much. Also ask whoever is hosting the shower to call the people who didn't respond for their answer. I agree with the others above two weeks is sort of short notice

I know exactly how you feel!
I am really struggling with all the rsvp no's for my wedding.
Maybe you can ask them what date works best for a BP and see them at that time?

Don't feel bad... People who love you will be there. I am not even having a Shower... there is no way to do it my BP all lives in other tates and most of them were here for our daughters Graduation so there is no way they can get back between now and our wedding.

Please don't worry... It is YOUR SHOWER... My shower is supposed to be sat too.. I gave my mother 25 names of people I thought would want to come. Mine is a surprise so I have no clue how many people will RSVP to say YES... but, if I go there and it is just my Mom, sister and bridesmaids.. I wont be upset. Listen, there are so many things worse to think and worry about. BTW where is your shower? I dont know where mine is...
