update on my aunt

I just got back from visitng my aunt from the hospital in Manhasset...

well, she hasn't really woken up yet, she just opens her eyes for a second and then closes them....she has so many tubes connected to her it is quite scary. She moved her arm a bit today, which is a good sign......and she made is through the 8 hour surgery, which is a miracle in itself.

It's just so hard to see someone who was practically your grandmother and raised you laying there helpless and connected to tubes and machines....

She is still recovering and it will be a loooooooooong recovery with many daily trips to North Shore Hospital.........

Those are all good signs!!! At least she is opening her eyes!!! Hang in there!!!

It's hard seeing someone you love like that... it's heartbreaking. She is in my prayers. Think positive and stay strong.
