Update on my dress drama!

Well, I took your advice and fought David's Bridal about the dress I bought and now hate. I talked them into store credit that I have to use up in 6 months. I am happy with that. I am buying my girls organza shrugs, myself a dress for a friend's wedding, flower girl stuff, etc. I am so happy it worked out!!! And no more of that dress causing me nightmares!!!!!!

So, the best part is that last weekend when I was home for Easter I went to a store by my mom's. I tried on an Eden dress and I had that 'wow, I'm a bride' feeling for the first time. It's beautiful but if I am going girly I am going to have more beading/accents. I am going to try on the Jasmine one again this weekend because I love it so much. Check them out. I'm so excited now!!!!

I'm so glad it all worked out for you! I love both those dresses, but the second is my fave.

Yes. My mom cam down a few weeks ago and after David's in Westbury being gross, rude and not helpful at all, we went to Wedding Center where the women were obnoxious, arrogant and told me my boobs were in the wrong spot, we went to David's in Lake Grove. They were helpful but I was so emotionally drained from the day before that I just bought a dress that fit and was decent. I couldn't even look at pictures. I knew it wasn't 'the dress'. But it's no returns so I wasn't sure how it would work out. In the end, it's settled!

And I am almost set on the Jasmine one, and the pic is in ivory. I can only imagine how much it will 'pop' in white!

wow you are lucky they gave u store credit, every single store i have been to so far, ONCE you put your deposit down, that is it, NO REfunds. Nothing

Some places take cash only so theres no even disputing it on your credit card.
Im glad you were able to get a refund but every store i went to, even if you go back an hour later they wont give your money back.

This is a major reason why i cant decide on a dress, its just such a permanent decision.

Also i would never step foot into that commack wedding center, they have such Horrific reviews.
