since that infection can come back an so can the pain, you may want to get a little bottle of oil of cloves.. they sell it at real pharmacies (not the cvs/ rite aids but the real old fashioned pharmacy..) it works WONDERS>..a lil on the qtip and then onto the gums.. and BAMN! pain is GONE!!! wonderful wonderful wonderful!!

ok so...
i took a q-tip - put salt on it
then i stuck it in my gums by the wisdom tooth
swished it around
a bunch of blood squirted out and now the swelling is ALL gone!!!
it still hurts a little but NOTHING like this morning!!!
sorry - i know its kind of gross

i just yelled EW so loud my DOG jumped and ran to me

I'm so sorry you're going through this right before your wedding!! If it hurts too much, ask for a Rx for oral xylocaine... it's a clear anesthetic gel you can apply carefully w/ a q-tip to the painful area. I used that for mouth sores from cancer treatments many yrs ago, and then a few yrs ago my dentist gave it to me for a wisdom tooth infection. It takes away the pain for a while so you can eat and drink comfortably. Feel better!!!!!!!!
