Update: Please reccomend your favorite Wedding Band
The hunt for a wedding band begins! Does anyone have any suggestions on a band that will keep the dance floor full all night but also play a mix of all kinds of music to keep everyone happy?? Thanks!
oh- and PS- Codie Bleu was already taken on our date :( Has anyone every heard 'The Touch' play?
FYI- I saw Times Square Orchestra last night and thought they were fabulous! Any past brides who can vouch for them?
AMAZING! Every guest was dancing and as they left each one told us how great the band was....I want to have another party just to hire them again!

I was going to recommend Code Bleu, but then you said they were booked.
I haven't seen The Touch, but they are actually playing at a bar in Long Beach, Sutton Place, on April 10. I was there for dinner the other night and saw the poster.

My cousin had Paris and I also saw them at a showcase not too long ago. I thought they were great.

Oh I forgot to mention.....Skyline, one of Code Bleu's sister bands, was also really good.

I have heard great things about Renegade, several friends highly recommended, but they are booked our night.
People also talk about The Projekt (also booked my night).

In Transit. They are based out of Westchester. My sis had them at her october wedding at FT. People still talk aobut them!! I only did not use them becuase I HAD to have Code Bleu.

We're using Sound Image from Faze 4. Faze 4 has about 10 AMAZING bands. You can't go wrong with any of them...and it's great b/c you make 1 appt and can see DVDs of as many of the bands as you want and price them all in one shot!

Thanks Ladies! I heard that the Touch was going to be at Sutton Place next Friday. I was thinking about checking them out. The Times Square Orchestra is having a showcase at the Holiday Inn in Westbury tonight so I was thinking about maybe seeing them out as well. There are so many choices!

i used true blue from faze 4, they were awaesome!!! they nailed every song. my guests still rave about them. totally worth the money

The Touch- AWESOME.
I used to be a bridal attendant and all the best weddings had these guys. The lead singer is amazing, he can do everything from Louis Armstrong to Michael Jackson to Beyonce.

My sister felt the same way of Paris, not that great. I love to recommend my band which is Opera 3000, they have live showcases every week. Youtube link:
I would like to find a wedding band that will keep people dancing all night long. Has anyone ever heard of Head Over Heels? I heard they are a great band. I don't know if I should go for a DJ or a band. I don't want to pay a lot for the music. Does anyone know how much they charge or what a good band charges without paying through the nose?
