Some of you may remember my post asking if this email I received from a DJ was rude-
We spoke on May 1 regarding setting up a meeting to speak about DJ services. I still have not heard from you. You can call me to set up an appointment or kindly respond back via e-mail to let me know you do not need my help any longer. Please work with me here, the longer you wait to book a wedding DJ, the harder it becomes to plan the perfect day.
There were mixed reactions, so I kept my response to him simple:
I did try responding to your 5/1 email asking when you were available to meet. YOU did not respond. So, no I won't be needing your services.
This is what I got in return today:
you did not respond to my e-mail.... I told you to give me a call so we could set something up. How many e-mails do you want to go back and forth with? For god's sake this is your wedding we're talking about. You can't pick up the phone and call a DJ to make an appointment? I'd be embarrassed and ashamed if I were you and I'm sure your wedding will show the effort you've put forth in dealing with the most important vendor!
Now I will be reporting to the BBB and advising all the girls on here not use him
The name is Platinum Plus DJ,,,they are not a vendor on here...but just in case anyone thinks of using them- be warned- this is what their customer service is like.

Well, I have seen at weddings: Tommy's Tunes, Body Rock, Starlight Express and Elegancia Entertainment... They were all FANTASTIC DJ's and if I had to choose I would NOT know who to go with... So, just to give you a couple of people to go check out HTH! You'll find someone

'the most important vendor' Thinks quite highly of himself. Must be a really popular guy. Funny, I haven't come across any of his ads.

What a NUT. Seriously. thats exactly why I wont email vendors... Cuz when I call I can tell by the tone in their voice wether I even want to give them a shot!
I saw Starlight Express at a woodland's expo and they seriously sounded like a live band. [well they kinda were] They were AMAZING! had the whole percussion section in addition to a DJ. I'd highly recommend them!

Honestly, he sounds more crazy than anything else...I thought the same thing when I read the first post...something about his word choice...you have good instincts...forget him...

ETA - Then when u book ur next DJ, call this DJ and tell him who u booked just to piss him off.
