update - went to Dr. this morning

i have a huge 'thing' (for lack of a better word) on my thyroid. they're not 100% sure what it is, but now that i look in the mirror- it is pretty obvious that something is there, don't know how I never noticed it. will be going back for a sono, more bloodwork, and then a biopsy.

I have a nodule on my thyroid also....they discovered it about 5? years ago.....it hasn't gotten big enough for surgery.....

although it may seem big at first, the sonograms give them the exact size where they determine if surgery is necessary....

as of now, I just got 2x a year for a sonogram to monitor the size...had 2 biopsies also
