i'm sooo excited!! after FH gets home from work we're driving up to NY to do a marathon of looking at RH's! We're seeing two this afternoon/evening (Swan Club and Tall Grass Country Club) and five tomorrow (East Wind Country Gardens, Giorgios, Majestic Gardens, Chateau La Mer, and Woodbury Country Club). If we can't choose from 7 places, I don't think we'll ever be able to choose LOLLL
But my parents were supposed to come and then my mom came down with the flu we can't sign without her seeing!!!!!
ETA: Update: so tonight we looked at Tall Grass Country Club and CLM (we were supposed to look at Swan Club, but because of time constraints we moved that until tomorrow). Tall Grass was really laid back, inviting, and cozy. It was really our style! CLM was a little 'fancier' than what we were looking for. We were also worried about the open docks and all the children at the wedding!! I'll update again tomorrow after we see the rest!!!

Did you call the places beforehand? B/c I know when I was looking, SC only said I could look in the early morn on saturdays... but then again, that was in the summer so maybe they have no wedding tonight

Swan Club told me to get there before 7:30 PM (no real appointment, as long as i'm there before 7:30). and i have actual appointments with all the rest!! yayyy! can't wait

i do! like, the minute after we got engaged my mom went to Barnes and Noble and got me this huge wedding planning book that has everything needed to plan the wedding from soup to nuts, including all the questions to ask vendors! is there anything 'hidden' that i should look out for though?

Wow, you're gonna have a very busy weekend! Make sure you take lots of notes, 'cause after looking at all those places, they all might start to look like one giant fuzz. Plus, seeing it in writing might help your decision-making a lot easier. Hope you find something you love!

Take lots of notes because they may all beome a blur after the weeekend. I would also take a camera.

thanks!!! LOLLLL i know, i think we're setting a record, but since we live in philly and FH doesn't get any time of during tax season, we have to do it all in one shot!!! it'll be busy but fun!!!!

Personally, Majestic Gardens was #1 on my list, but it was too far from our church to make the times work :(
