I went to the shelter and it is him... BUT his vaccine expired last week. Which I knew - he had an appointment for the week after next to be neutered and get shots. But there is no doctor on duty so he can't go home until tomorrow.
BUT HE IS SAFE!

He will be neutered on the 11th. Maybe that will curb his desire to wander.
