Ladies,

I'm freaking out. WHen I went for my dress preview, I didn't get that same 'Feeling' as I did when I originally bought the dress. There were alot of things contributing to that... Aunt Flow, I was hot, tired & hungry and the thing that really makes my dress is a big full slip underneath, which I didn't have when I went in. Anyway, I was so upset and disappointed and I can't stop thinking about it. So I ordered a nice big slip from ebay and we're going back to the salon tonight to re-try on the dress with the new full slip. I'm hoping this will make me happy. If not, my Mom said that we're going to have to shop for another dress until I get that feeling again. SHe wants me to feel perfect and like a princess... so I stressing. I am praying htat everything will be fine once I have the slip. Here are the pics from the preview. Am I overreacting? Please be honest.

try to go in there with an open mind.

you fell in love with this dress for a reason. it's human nature to second guess yourself! who's to say that you would order a second dress and the same thing wouldn't happen?

you honestly look BEAUTIFUL in the dress!!!

try it on with the full slip and wear your veil, headpiece, tiara, etc so you get the full effect. wear your bridal shoes too! put on some makeup so you feel pretty (just don't get it on the dress!).

DOn't know if this helps you are not, but for my first fitting I LOVED my dress, for my final fitting, I didn't feel like I looked my best in it, but by then it was too late. I was really worried how I would be when I put it on on my wedding day....when I did, that original feeling came back and I was THRILLED with how I looked.

Try it again and see, try to remember why you loved it in the first place too!

My second preview

OMG, so I just got back from re-trying on my dress with my new slip. All I can say is, that made all the difference in the world! I loved it sooo much, I wanted to cry! I was so excited and relieved! In fact, I loved it more than I did when originally bought the dress! Here's the pics from tonight... excuse the hair and makeup... I had worked all day and just threw my hair up...

BTW, do you like it up or down? I think I like it up now...

I had the same problem with you and the slip, the first time I tried it on I didn't have the slip and it didn't hang right, but when I went back with one, it made all of the difference in the world! Good luck with everything!!

I bought the slip from Ebay!!! Only $20!!!! The guy who sells them is a wholesalers so they're super inexpensive. I won it last Friday night, and it was at my door on Monday morning! Can't believe I got it for so cheap!

I have a trial next Saturday, so I'll have her try it up/down and half up/half down... I just hope she doesn't get mad when she has to do 3 styles!
