UPDATED on bottom with pics!!!!

Ladies,

I'm freaking out. WHen I went for my dress preview, I didn't get that same 'Feeling' as I did when I originally bought the dress. There were alot of things contributing to that... Aunt Flow, I was hot, tired & hungry and the thing that really makes my dress is a big full slip underneath, which I didn't have when I went in. Anyway, I was so upset and disappointed and I can't stop thinking about it. So I ordered a nice big slip from ebay and we're going back to the salon tonight to re-try on the dress with the new full slip. I'm hoping this will make me happy. If not, my Mom said that we're going to have to shop for another dress until I get that feeling again. SHe wants me to feel perfect and like a princess... so I stressing. I am praying htat everything will be fine once I have the slip. Here are the pics from the preview. Am I overreacting? Please be honest.

I knew you'd post your pics today, you look GREAT!!! I am soo happy that you are back in love with your dress. If you don't mind I may actually print a picture of you in this dress, and stick it in our store album, so that girls can see it in white. I can wait til after your wedding though if you prefer. I have to say your Mom looked gorgeous too, she picked such a great dress, she has a beautiful figure. You will all look so awsome on your wedding day...tick tock goes the clock, the day will be here before you know it!

I thought the dress looked beautiful before, but now it just looks even better! I might see about a fuller slip for me, now that I've seen what a difference it makes on yours

looks great!!! i was gonna write and tell ya how much of a difference my slip made with my dress.. .and it definitely did for yours, too!! looks perfect!! and i LOVE your hair up!! looks awesome!

YAY!! I'm glad you are feeling better. I love your hair both ways, but it looks soo classy up!! you look beautiful!! $20 for the slip? Wow not bad!

You look beautiful! don't worry a thing about it. Stress can make anything seem a lot worse than it really is. In this case it makes you think a perfectly beautiful dress on a lovely girl, looks wrong. Don't let it get to you. Let Aunt flow run her corse, take a nice bath, go do something nice for yourself like get your hair done or your nails and when you feel a little better, try the dress on again. You'll feel the differences.

OMG, the slip makes a lot of difference. I know I keep saying this, but I just can't believe how inexpensive it was! Oh, and the slip is made out of flexible hoops with the tool on the outside, so none of the slip actually touches your leg! The hoops create your own little space in there! I hope that makes sense... but let me tell you.... you won't sweat the way you would in a normal slip because there's no material touching your leg!

Thanks!!! That jewelry isn't my jewelry, it's just some random jewelry so I could see how it looked with a sparkly necklace. I'm on the prowl for some jewels!!! Not to mention the diamond necklace I have my heart set on! I'll keep my fingers crossed! hahahah!

Yes, it's Angels Bridal. I got the 3 hoop slip. If you want bigger, go to the 4, if smaller, 1 or 2.

Ann Marie, I think you looked great in both sets of pics, but the second set of pics is just GORGEOUS! The bigger slip makes such a difference in the dress, and your hair looks so beautiful up. You are going to look stunning on your wedding day!

i'm so glad you posted this because i just had the exact same thing happen to me!
My dress came in and i went to try it on to confirm it was right. I felt so 'eh' about it and was so bummed because i wanted to feel excited! I couldn't figure it out why, but i think its for the exact same reason as you - the slip makes it poof out and look fuller and smoother.
I'm going for my first fitting in a month so will make sure to have my slip and hope that i get that feeling that i've had all these months waiting for it to come in.

I'm really happy for you that you got your warm fuzzy feeling back. And i LOVE your hair up!!! usually i prefer hair down, but it makes you look really elegant in that beautiful dress.
