UPDATED- Maureen Pedela contacted me back, I definately jumped the gun...she is a total sweetheart. I have acttually asked that this be taken down because I dont want any misinformation out there and a negative comment about a vendor when there shouldnt have been . Sorry.
I don't know about Maureen, but perhaps since most weddings occur Fridays and Saturdays, she's pre-occupied with a bride fro this weekend? I would wait until Monday or Tuesday before getting annyoed.
It took many of our vendors a few days to call us back. give her a few days-- i'm sure she will call!
She's slow to return messages. I have only dealt w/her via email, but she has a day job plus doing brides on the weekends. It's not intentional and she wants your business, I think she's just very busy.

she really takes her time with getting back to ppl. I think i had to wait 3 weeks and emailed her 3 times before she got back to me. I would suggest waiting at least 2 weeks and then calling or emailing her again if you don't hear from her.
I would wait a few days, she emailed me back after a few days. She works during the day for a tv show doing make up and then at night many times she does trials and other events, and sometimes she has fashion shows and magazine shoots to do, plus weddings on weekends.
But once you booked, was she better about getting back and most importantly on your weddding day, was she prompt? professional...
