Uplighting

Uplighting

I am having a 'twilight wedding' . The reception is from 4 - 9:30 on July 4. My FH wants uplighting but idk if it will be worth it to pay the extra money since it will only be dark out for a small portion of the wedding. What do you girls think?

Where are you getting married? If the room isn't surrounded by windows, the uplighting can look really nice! I'd see if your DJ has pictures of uplighting in your venue. Or, you can ask your venue if you can see pictures of uplighting during the day. Then you can decide if it's worth it. HTH

It depends on the room. If it's a room like westbury manor then yes.. it's worth it cuz there are windows but they are covered. But if it's a place like venetician yacht club or chateau la mer it's not worth it.

My RH has windows all around but everything is white so we are doing uplighting. I've seen pictures of it done there before and it looks amazing! so even though there are windows it can still look fantastic...

We weren't doing it originally, then we went to a wedding during the day that had them and we loved it!!!!! I know my dj offered to go to my RH with the lighting during the day so I could see if it was worth it, try seeing if your dj will do that.
