Uplighting

Good Morning Brides-to-Be!

So I just booked my DJ last night (with acoustic singer) with Barittini Productions.. I did book uplighting.. What colors are you guys using?? he said he offers where it goes with the music to all colors? what are your experiences on what you guys have seen and like or do not like??

Feedback is great :)

When the time comes for me to book that.I would loveee uplighting I think it makes a huge difference. What colors are you doing for your wedding? Maybe you want to go with that color theme?

that's the thing.. I cannot nail down the colors I want to choose yet... debating between a Wine or a Garnet color.. but then wondering if I would do the Pink uplighting.. then I was also looking to doing grey dresses, but couldn't think of a color to use for uplighting.. the same with navy dresses I have in my mind.. I am the worst lol!

maybe he could change it up. but not like all at once. like pink when u come in. blue when everyone dancing etc... You should talk with whoever you booked and tell him and hear their suggestions. They would know since they do it often. Good luck!

It'll be easier to decide once you've nailed down a color scheme. You can really do anything you want. I love the way purple uplighting looks and that was one of the reasons I chose lavender and plum as my colors. You can really do whatever you want. The only color I'm not a fan of is red.. When we were looking at venues one of the tour people said 'I don't like the red uplighting, it looks like a brothel' and now thats all I think of lol. Also keep in mind that whatever color uplighting you chose might alter the look of your centerpieces, especially if you chose white flowers.

Yellow is an option, so is white. I kind of love the white, but I go back and forth between colors. Maybe you can google your venue and uplighting to see different options. Look for wedding videos at your venue too, that helped me find good ideas.

PS. LOVE baranttini, we chose him too.

Definitely settle on just one color. I went to a wedding that did a variety of colors and it made FH and I kind of nauseous. We had to leave early lol.

We decided not to do up lighting because of the Christmas decorations and lights that will be up at the milleridge for the wedding.. If we did it we wanted to be understated to not take away from the charm. I've seen most pictures from milleridge up lighting are purple or pink.

Yes that's what I have seen also, yes we are getting married after the decorations are taken down... Do you think the pink is understated? That is what I am trying to debate... ahh decisions decisions!

Right now we are leaning towards an aqua color to open up the room, but we will have a lighting technician on site that will change it up throughout the night.

Just google all the colors and see what appeals to you. Or pinterest! They have a lot of great ideas to help nail down a color scheme.

The Venetian has lighting and it was installed by Bravo Sound. I'm just letting them do the the lights according to the music and stuff.
