so i bought a swatch about 2 months ago at David's Bridal ..it was the perfect color that i envisioned my girls wearing...so i stopped in the store the other day to by a different swatch for my friends wedding to match my shoes and i didnt see my color there...i asked if they still had that color because i didnt see it on their website and they said the color was discontinued...i am soooo uoset... i had my heart set on it and wanted my girls to wear THAT color :( it was called rose petal..it was like medium pink..and now they only have really light pink or majenta.. what other stores besides davids bridal have a nice selection of bridesmaid dresses??... sorry to vent.

I really liked Lillette's in Bellmore! We went there for my best friend's wedding last August, they had a pretty big selection.
Also, I think the Dessy-brand dresses come in a million shades of pink, so check out their website. I know Bridal Reflections carries their brands & they're not too pricey, around the same as David's BM dresses. (Alfred Sung, Dessy, etc.)

Same thing happened with me. It was like a burnt orangeish color it was called cognac. So I had to switch to a truffle (dark brown). Sorry you had to deal with it also good luck!

That's terrible! I think the Bridal Suite in Bayshore has a great selection. Also, if you want to look by color, they have all the swatch books out for you so you can see the actual color on the material you want. HTH!

Go onto Weddingtonway.com RIGHT NOW! They have a Bazilllion shades of every color..Put some dresses in your cart, they'll e-mail you and I waited until they offered to send me some swatches for free!!! Then you can google the make of the color/dress you like and they can show you where on LI they have them!!! It looks like you may like the color ROSEGLOW on that site...seems close to me!! Good Luck!!
