Upset - BM's can be so hurtful (sorry long)

One of my bridesmaids, the one I have had issues with in the past and really didn't want to include her in the bridal party but that is a looooong story for another day.

So anyway, we have been planning tonight as my bach party for months and I wanted to go out in the city to make it easier on everyone and so everyone would be able to go, etc.

So my MOH and FSIL and sister have been planning everything for the past month. They got a limo and everything and picked a place for dinner and then to go bar hopping. So this BM was supposed to drive up from south jersey this morning with my sister and MOH. They were supposed to be here early so we could do the programs and placecards also.

Well my sister and MOH are waiting at MOH's house and BM still isn't there. They call her and she says, well no one called me yesterday so I figured the whole thing was canceled so I'm not ready.

W T F

MOH did call her on Thursday to confirm everything. Why would we cancel, its 2 weeks before my wedding, and if she thought that, why didn't she call MOH to clarify? It's like she doesn't want to be a part of it. She has done nothing for this wedding and I knew it would be trouble to include her....

Sorry for the long vent, tryting to hold it together 2 weeks till the wedding. I feel like I have done everything to make this a simple, drama free wedding and make it easier for other people. Put my own feelings aside and then they don't appreciate it and just make this a big drama fest. Just really hurtful how people won't do simple things for you.

dont even let that bother you now. No need to let somebody else bring you down. you are going out tonight and you do have ppl who do care and spent a month planning all this for you so focus on that. Dont even have them update you on whats going on with the bm and them waiting for her, better you dont know. They will get there so in the meantime just relax.

I wouldnt react to her....for the benefit of you, and i know its hard, just move on, you have such wonderful people who have spend a month planning a fun filled night for you with your best interests at heart. react and embrace and enjoy that. This other girl doesnt deserve your energy. This is a time of happiness....if she isnt ready. then leave without her.
