thank you for all the suggestions. I think Im going to look into hudsno valley for 2 nights to go wine tasting, and m going to look into Lake George.

Hmm...not sure if there is wine tasting, although I wouldn't doubt it...if you like hiking, there are trails up there...and i love horseback riding, so you can do that. there's a cute little village to go through and good restaurants. there are outlets too, incase you want to get some shopping in...then there's mini golf places and great ice cream
I just think it's a really relaxing place...you can sit by the lake all day and do absolutely nothing...We are heading up there this weekend for a little getaway...I can't wait...

if lake george is too far try saratoga, after race time the prices are reasonable, it has a ton of stuff to do and lovely little downtown area with nice restaurants and bars
