Hi! I have a meeting with a DJ at 7:30 and plan on booking today... Question is if this DJ quoted me $800 MORE than other DJ's did, but I really like this DJ and want to book him, any chance on haggling the price I I tell him what 3 others quoted me? I hate haggling, but that's a big difference...
So do DJ's generally price-match or lower prices if asked?

It doesn't hurt to ask.

Re: *Urgent - DJ Pricing Question
I would tell him that you like him the best, but he is charging 800$ more than the three other quotes you received...tell him you don't expect him to match them, but you can't really do what he's asking- is there any way he could come down a bit?
The worst he can do is say no!

Re: *Urgent - DJ Pricing Question
800 more My DJ was only 800 and he was amazing. Definitely try to haggle. Make sure you see a showcase too for that kinda money.
I would ask him to bring the price down. They will work with you.

you can generally try negotiating with most of your vendors. so, go for it.

Re: *Urgent - DJ Pricing Question
Definitely name your price and see if they will give it to you. We told our dj our budget and they came down a lot into our budget (down about $800) and they were cheaper than the other guys to begin with. FM me if you want details.
