URGENT-PLS HELP, NEED TO KNOW WITHIN 20 MIN

We are paying our balance in a few hours.

I need to know how surcharge is calculated . Is it based off amount before tax?

For example, total is 10,000 x tax ( how much???????), then 10,000 x surcharge, not 10,000+tax x surcharge??

I recommend you call your RH and get an exact number from them.

This is the problem, I can not ask them. We are having so much problems with them now, I do not trust them, all they want is to rip us off

surcharge is taxed. So its 10K + surcharge +Tax

unfortunately from what I have been told, since it is called a service charge and not a gratuity the RH has to charge tax on it.

What county is the RH in? Suffolk was 8.63% for us

Queens is NYC tax 8.375% (I believe)

Ok looks like it's 8.28%. Is it a 'service charge'? If so, I think they can tax on that.

equals your final cost.

I just used Google to get the tax rate. you need to confirm it with someone.

I think you may need to call your RH. Ask them the actual total cost per person & ask them the county tax rate.

The multiply that actual cost per person by your # of guests.
