U.S Postal service, you are my arch nemesis

We sent our Save The Dates out at the beginning and about 25% of them got sent back to us! Apparently some of the envelopes were more bulky then others and those needed more stamps. About 6 of them were totally lost. So that was a whole mess.

We decided to move our hotel block so we sent out postcards to let everyone know. FH went to the post office and went to the window and asked which stamps we need for the envelope and made the guy swear that we had the right stamp.

Wellllll i just got a call from the Viana and a bunch of our Cards just got sent back to them. also a whole bunch of people are saying they never got the post card at all! We sent these out two weeks ago


I just don't understand why this is happening. Every time we re-sent something it costs us MORE money. Is anyone else having this issue?

I just told FH i want to hand deliver as many invites as we can and only mail out of state. I'm not chancing wasting any invites after spending $500 on them! But also what about RSVP's!! What if those get lost too. I don't think i could handle this so close to the wedding.

I have had save the dates, thank you cards and deposits to vendors come back..It is def a conspiracy against all those spending a lot of money for a wedding to just have to spend more...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
