Do what works for you. We are having the Best Man and one usher (Matron of Honor, one Bride's Maid, Flower Girl and Ringbearer). I've seen few weddings where the ushers actually usher...and that being just women. The last wedding we went to, they guys didn't usher anyone.
I am getting ready to order my dress from demetrios brides, any suggestions, or ideas on questions that MUST BE ASKED or SHOULD BE on the contract before I put money down. Any suggestions you may have from passed experience will greatly be appreciated, I just want to make sure I go in there prepared. It was hard enough narrowing down which dress to get. Oh, almost forgot I am getting married on 10/21/01, so I quess I am ordering in advance.

I do not think handing out the programs is a kids job. I honestly haven't given this part of the ceremony much thought, but my brother did just tell me last night that I shouldn't ask him to do something, I should just tell him what I need him to do. So, in that case, I may be telling my brothers they will be handing out programs. Then later, they will do the readings.
The Best Man and one Groom's Man will be busy trying to keep my soon to be husband calm. LOL
