FMIL tells me a storY of a girl who works in this Dept store...felt really really sick....when to the bathroom to splash water on her face...took her ring off...left it on the counter..when back to work....
She is at the cashier and panicked..She left the ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Runs back................

maybe someone will feel guilty and return it!
i never take off my ring to wash my hands - and when i take it off to put lotion on . .. i put it in my mouth! i know its gross and grosses people out but its the only place i know i wont lose it!

I do the same thing. And FH hates that I do that but I dont want to loose it or have it fall off my desk or out of my pocket and not find it

My mom and dad went to Quebec city years ago and she acidently somehow left it at the hotel on the sink in the bathroom and they called right away and they said it wasn't there. She still hates to talk about it.

Oh no! That is terrible! I've taken my ring off and put it in my pocket or purse almost everytime I wash my hands. The first few months I would forget to put it on and go through a major panic attack now I more attentive!

Oh my God! That's horrible. I've been engaged for 11 days and STILL haven't washed my hands fully when I'm not at home! lol I wash half my left hand and my full right hand. I am crazy about keeping it safe! Does this person have insurance? I know my policy even replaces it if you leave it in a bathroom!!!

omg that's awful. My fiance would KILL me if i didnt just die on my own. I was playing with it on the couch last week when i dropped in in the cushins and he kept going 'i swear to God...' as if i'd lost it! LoL

That is terrible... I almost lost mine this morning and all I kept thinking was how would I tell my FH that I lost it. I took it off because I was mixing food with my bare hands and when i brought it with me into the bathroom I placed it down on the counter. Well I forgot that put it there and whipped off the countertop (water) and saw my ring go flying. No Joke it hit the toilet seat and thank god bounced off. I wouldn't even know how to tell him. He would KILL me...
Poor girl, I hope that her FH is a very understanding person

Holy crap!! I'd be so pissed at myself and depressed! I only take my ring off to shower and get ready... and the ring goes back in it's case! I'm definately making sure I never take it off and leave it anywhere!!

OMG That's horrible!!! That story just freaked me out.. FH would kill me - the other day I took my ring off to do the dishes and I left it on the bread box on the kitchen counter where I always leave it when I do the dishes - because it's safe there.. after I was done doing the dishes I forgot all about it for like 5 min because I started doing something else until FH comes to me with the face telling me 'look what I found!'... and that was in my own kitchen... Imagine a public bathroom!!! - he'd flip and I would never forgive myself... FH is very touchy about me taking it off for any reason!
I agree I hope it's insured for their sake, but nothing can ever replace the ring he proposed with OMG just the thought of knowing it's out there somewhere would give me nightmares
