Nope, but I'm planning on trying one in the city in June, I don't want to fry my skin with the real thing.

Sometimes I get bad hives from the tanning beds so I don't want to take a chance

Re: uv free Tanning
i tried it and it was terrible. it only hit me in some spots so i had a really tan calf and everything else was bad. i dont know if this happens a lot or maybe the machine hadn't been used in a while, but i suggest if you do it, do it when you dont have to be anywhere and buy a bottle of sea breeze just in case! let me know if you go and if it works...the idea of it is great and i'd love for it to work.
ps...i had it done the day before i was having pictures done for my fiance...it was a nightmare!! i shouldnt have done it for the first time on that day...

I did it at EZ Tan on 20th & 5th and LOVED it. It did only last a week but literally took 15 minutes and was very even and natural looking. I plan on going a couple of more times before the summer.

Tried it and loved it, you would need to go atleast 2 times to see a real difference though

Does it spray on your face? How do you keep it out of your hair?

Re: uv free Tanning
i did it at beach bum tanning in huntington. it's great i love it. you protect your hair with a hair cap and they give you lotion for in between your toes and fingers and for your hands. this is how it works... you put on the lotion and cap, take off all your jewelry and step into a booth. there's a button with a green light on it and when your ready you press the button. it gives you like 10 seconds before it starts spraying you, so you can get into place. they'll tell you how to stand and how to put your hands so they don't get messed up. it sprays you for like 20 seconds and then it stops and you have to turn around for the back. after that you get out wipe your hands, nails, feet and toenails first then you have to wipe your body with the towel only going upwards so you dont get streaky and you get dressed.

Will it be a problem with contact lenses?

Re: uv free Tanning
I figured you had to keep your eyes closed -lol - The reason I asked was that my friend had airbrushing done and even though she had her eyes closed guess it got on her eyelashes and she had problems.

Yes, this girl I know from work did and she came back all orange!! She was very pale though. I wouldn't use that, Neutrogena I use and it gives me a great dark tan!

If you are really fair, don't do it!
I went to Hollywood tans and I came out very blotchy. It was my first time, so maybe I was a little 'inexperienced'
I would consider trying it again since I now know what to expect, and maybe I would go somewhere else. It really only lasted 3 showers . . .
It's good to get a base going to do self tanning on your own, but it's not worth the 25 dollars per session and you should really expect to do alot of touching up to even it out.
