Uy Vey...

Uy Vey...

So I went to my menu meeting last night at CLM. It was great!! I am getting so excited.

But we asked the BM if there was another wedding before our wedding, and he went and checked the book...there is a Bar Mitzvah that ends JUST has my guests are arriving. So there will be like 50 13-year olds crossing paths with my guests. Oh Joy!

In the grand scheme of things it is not so bad. On the up side, I feel like I can arrive earlier to the hall for pictures since the Bar Mitzvah will be in the upstairs room and its not like there will be another bride.

Yea, we'll see... Now I am kicking myself for putting 5pm on the invite, when the ceremony actually starts at 5:30. The Bar Mitzvah wraps up at 5. If we just kept the right time on the invite, we might not have had an issue. Maybe I'll just try to spread the word to as many people as possible. And I'll have the hotel shuttle drop off at 5:15 instead of 5pm.

Dont worry. When I arrived at CLM they had a party going on upstairs (right before mine) one in the atrium room and they had a 3rd party going on in the ceremony room downstairs. They place was a bit chaotic but everything was a smooth transition.

Sounds like a plan. As a mother of a 13 year old I know I'm always on time picking up my daughter. Don't want her and her friends causing mischief. Most parents are there early or on-time so I wouldn't worry too much.
