Vacation Booked!!!

yay that is going to be so great!!

oh yeah she can def get tix...when you live in florida, well at least in orland, at work they give you discounted passes...thats great if you have a friend who lives there...hey anything you can save on those passes will be great.

I just looked at the Disney site and if they buy them they are non transferable and you have to show Florida ID.. Oh well.

For 3 day park Hopper in Disney, it's somewhere around 250 a person... So thats an extra 500.. And universal in 80 a person (luckily I have a Universal CC and may use my points to buy the tickets) But if not, thats almost 700 just to go to the Parks.. Plus add the money for food and souveniers!!

But i'm still excited!!

I found out that if you go on the Universal site in the early am like 3am they have early bird specials. $75 a person for entrance to both parks for one day. You really only need one day to do everything in both those parks. But since it is your FH's first time there, you might wanna take your time and really do everything. But yea thats better than $100 for both parks on one day when you buy them at the park.

Yeah, it all adds up. Disney for example. Airfare and Hotel is going to be relatively inexpensive.. But the passes into the Parks! Crazy expensive!

yeah i heard that the passes are very expensive...how much are they?

its crazy bc when i went to great adventure last summer they had raised to the price to $60 i think even a little over 60...theyve been raising it every summer, so is this summer gonna be $70, its ridiculous

I NEVER pay full price at Six Flags. The park isnt even that great lol thats why we always take a coke can for the buy 1 get 1 free, then split the cost of one ticket.

Hey Megan - that's so awesome!! Disney is really such an amazing / magical place! How cool is it that FH has never been and you get to be the first person to take him there!!!

FH and I actually went to Florida 3 years ago. We only did Universal and SeaWorld though, no Disney because its soo expensive. We bought the specials for Universal and got the 7 day pass so we went there like 5 days.. FH was like a little boy. He is into the superheros and says Marvel Superhero Island at Islands of Adventures is the Happiest place on earth But i'm only going to buy the one or two day one to do the 2 parks in one day. FH has never been to the Disney parks, so I want to spend more time at those.

I KNOW!! It is crazy to spend full price.. .some of the rides are soo old and if you're not into roller coasters there isnt much to do.

We weren't engaged at the time but i guess they liked seeing young couples in love! Make sure to flash your bling when checking in - you never know
