DH & I have time share we want to sell but we are trying to avoid the outrageous commission rates charged by time share resellers. So we want to try selling it ourselves but we don't know where to list it.
If you were looking to buy a vacation club from someone privately, where would you look for a listing?

I don't know...I am in the same boat at you are. We were trying just to rent our week but haven't had any luck with that as well. To be honest, I would be willing to sell it for face value and not even make a profit from it. The people at our time share said many have sold on Ebay...I don't know what to do!

That's what we are trying to do - break even! If we go with a resell realtor it would cost us close to $1000 I looked on ebay and they were listed for a lot less then what we want.
I am trying to convince DH to sell the weeks to cover our annual expenses then when everything is paid, we only have maintenance but he's still not convinced.

We bought a disney time share last year. But DH wanted to switch home resorts and add on some more points. To do this we had to get another one which we did through Disney.
We don't really need or want to keep both so we are trying to sell the first one we bought. But we are trying to sell the whole thing, not just a week for this year or that year.
We are pleased with the time share and disney overall, we just don't want two time shares with the same company.
