When a vendor doesn't reply to you promptly, does it make you NOT want to book with them? Is this just me? I have a particular vendor that I have been attempting to correspond with b/c I would like to work with 'them' but they're very lax on replying. Makes me want to forget the whole thing. Anyone else feel this way?

Re: Vague Vendor Question
I felt the same way, because if they don't have time for you before, there certaintly not going to when your day is fast approaching. But then again I did have a problem with a couple vendors that after I gave them money totally weren't the same people lol

Re: Vague Vendor Question
I feel the same way, you're not the only one...I was looking for a certain kind of limo, and I asked for it on the vendors helping brides board, one vendor responded saying that they just ordered what I was looking for and that they would have it the next day and that they would send me pics..I have yet to receive these pics...but i'm not going to chase them down for pics, if they really wanted my business, they would have stood by their word as far as i'm concerned I refuse to work hard to give someone my money when they're supposed to be working hard to earn my money!

Re: Vague Vendor Question
Yes, we had some issues contacting a vendor and were thinking of moving on. However they were able to get back to us finally after we made 'the last call'.
It does make me want to not book / use them if I give them a week or so to get back to me and I dont hear from them.

Re: Vague Vendor Question
i had the same issues w/ hair and make up people, but it wall worked out in the end, and who i booked always responded in a very timely manner. however, a photographer that i really really really wanted never called us back unless we left like 2 or 3 messages. i was still willing to use them, but DH was not, but again, it all worked out in the end, cause i love my proofs!

Re: Vague Vendor Question
I have had this happen, and continued to work with a particular vendor.
In my situation it turned out to be a horrific nightmare that led me to a search for a videographer and photographer.
If you feel, deep in your gut, that it could end badly perhaps you should consider other options.
Also, remember that this is busy season for so many vendors with all the spring/summer weddings approaching.
