I have no ideas this year! Me and FH planned to buy something together as a joing V-Day gift, but I wanted to get him something small too!

We decided that since we're saving, we're not doing anything big. NOt that we ever really go too crazy for V-Day anyway. We'll probably go out to dinner somewhere inexpensive as opposed to dinner and a gift.
One year to save money, I made my FI (is that fiance? i'm not used to the lingo yet) I made him a coupon book. I made coupons for little things like, control over the remote, dinner of your choice movie or your choice, hugs, massages, kisses, etc., get out of jail free card
I know what you're thinking. CHEESEBALL! But, it was cheap and he thought it was cute. Just a suggestion.

We don't really exchange presents. We just get a little item. What we usually do is have a romantic dinner at home, do some dancing at home, and then see a movie or move the romance into the bedroom!

Last year I got a printer. I love FH because he knew I needed that for school much more than I needed flowers or candy.
We do small practical gifts for Valentines. My bday is Feb 11th so he usually does something nice for that instead.

Considering it is a Monday, we will be doing dinner on Sunday night...We really aren't exchanging bc we are saving for a house & wedding...Plus his birthday is tuesday!

We're not exchanging gifts, but we are going to Villa Lombardi's for Valentine's Day. They're doing a big hoopla, with band, DJ, unlimited top shelf liquor and awesome sit-down dinner.

I wonder if any catering halls in Jersey are doing what Villa Lombardi is doing... need to check into that!

Hi,
I am coordinating and event here at my job at a nightclub in the city. its's a Valentine day event so I get to go for free, so me an my FH will go to that.
On the weekend I will probably make a nice dinner for him at our vacation home in the Poconos.

I have no idea. Its going to be such a busy weekend for us and then valentines day is on Monday, yuck. The week after that we both have days off, so I was thinking of maybe postponing our valentines day. I would like to recreate our first date.

We always go to Little Italy for Valentine's Day. I don't think we are going to exchange gifts.
