We have a tradition. We go to the same restuarant we went to on our first v-day because of the funny memory. On our first v-day FH took me to an Italian restaurant in the city and didn't bring cash because he didn't know they didn't take credit cards. We were both in College and didn't have any money but for some reason I was carrying around $96. I hadn't counted it before leaving the house and I had it all over the place, in my wallet, pockets, purse. I discretly put the money together and hand it to him so he can count it in the bathroom. Instead, he starts counting it right at the table! He counts the money and the waiter tells us the specials, one of which is Lobster. FH then proceeds to order the lobster without asking how much it costs! THe whole time I was worried about not having enough money. Luckily we did have enough to cover dinner and the tip. Now we go there every V-day.
