Vegas

So FH and I are not travelers. I hate flying and we are not beach people. We are going to go to vegas for our honeymoon.

Anyone gone to Vegas for honeymoon and has any ideas or tips... pics would be great too.

Thanks!!

Re: Vegas

I've been to Vegas four times. I've stayed at the Tropicana (one night and will never again), Treasure Island, Mirage, and Venetian. The Venetian is by far my favorite hotel. The rooms and the hotel itself are gorgeous!

There is so much to do in Vegas even if you are not gamblers. Fh and I always go to the shows. I've seen Mystere, Hairspray and Zumanity while in Vegas.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm not honeymooning in Vegas but I went to school there and vaca there a lot. Wynn, Venetian & Bellagio are the most romantic.
Def eat at Prime steakhouse for a gorgeous and romantic meal on the lake at Bellagio and N9ne at the Palms is a nice restaurant as well. The Cirque show 'O' is great (Bellagio as well). The helicopter rides that take you over the city and grand canyon are beautiful (but if you're not a big flyer, u may not like). Any q's FM me. Hope this helps!

I have been there many times...Venetian has been my favorite hotel so far...but I also love the Hard Rock. The rooms are so spacious. there are also some options off of the 'strip' if you want something a bit quieter,

We stopped in Vegas for a few days on the way back from Hawaii. We stayed at the MGM Signature Towers. They are beautiful!!! I would highly recommend looking there. I also recommend Venetian, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay.

A few years ago we went ATV'ing in the Valley of Fire - that was a lot of fun! There are a lot of great restaurants, we went to the Top of the World at the Strasophere where it rotates and you see a 360 degree view within 45 minutes.

There are a tons of things to do and great places to eat - have fun planning!

Overall...Mandalay Bay is my favorite....though I have never been in a room. Caesar's has very nice rooms and would be good for a honeymoon. Palm and Hard Rock have fun atmospheres...and I think Paris is the prettiest.
I know a lot of people love Bellagio/Wynn, I feel like they are pretty but do not have much of a Vegas-sy (sexy) feel. Green Valley Ranch has nice nice rooms at a low rate.
Pierro's is my favorite food off strip, for buffet I like Spice Market, and I seem to eat at Tao every year. Most major Vegas restaurants seem to close early!
Bars I like Ghost in the Palms and Mixx in the ' the Hotel'.
