I'm seriously thinking about ditching the whole wedding idea and going to vegas!!! Or just sneaking off somewhere on an island, just the two of us and marrying each other then!

This wedding is stressing me out and the money! OMG im broke!

anyone ever feel the same?

I really do want the whole big fancy wedding thing but then i keep thinking of all the money that goes into that ONE day when we are struggling right now to pay our rent and bills how are we going to fit a wedding into that too??? i have said to FH lets just forget it and go away somewhere but both our families have been looking fwd to us getting engaged and i'm the first one in my family to get engaged so our families would KILL us but we also want a house too.... PLUS we have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO money right now to put towards ANYTHING wedding related.... so just adds to the stress when we see people 'so did you set a date yet? no? why not? oh you should really set your date before nothing is left....' REALLY? LIKE THAT THOUGHT DOESNT GO THRU MY MIND EVERYDAY!!! THANKS ADD MORE STRESS TO ME WHY DONT YOU!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally feel the same way........only difference is we have a date set... and the amount of stress its causing..... cannot even begin to express.... bc now the question is.... 'how are we going to save x amount of money by this date.'
