my dress is big and the top is lace and the bottom is tulle so I didn't want to look like it was my communion. So i wanted a simple veil. how long should it go. Im not having it like a train b/c the bottom of my dress is tulle and has no train. what length do you think would look good.

Re: veil ?
i don't know how to post pics but I bumped it and its under wedding purse.
i bumped the official veil thread for you for ideas. im partial to the more simple veils...my dress is very busy on the top, so im doing a simple 2 layer fingertip veil so it doesn't take anything away from the dress. you do have that ribbon detailing on your dress, so you could look for a veil with a ribbon edge maybe? i would try them on with your dress for more ideas! i also got some ideas from www.veilshop.com

Re: veil ?
i orginally had a veil with ribbon trim ordered and when i went for my first fitting it looked too much so I switched to a plain veil with no trimming. I don't know what the difference b/w two tiered or whatever. I look at pics.

Re: veil ?
i have a similar dress...just posted pics yesterday and they're in my album too...i wanted my veil lined so it didn't just mesh with the tulle of the dress. i also got a few rhinestones (double sided) put on throughout the veil. fingertip is best for a tulle dress, not elbow. don't do cathedral unless you don't have a train. the tulle will just mesh together.
