Is anyone else not wearing a veil? When I tried them on, it felt so religious and I am just not a religious person at all. Am I the only 1?

I agree. I got the religious feeling trying them on. The one that goes on the top of your head gave me thsi feeling in the worst way. But i dont think that i can walk away entirely from the tradition of having a veil so i am just going to do a simple one coming out of the back of my hair.

i didnt want to wear a veil either.. i just dont feel comfortable... therefore.. im just getting a short simple one just for the ceremony.. it will be off right after that!!

I am wearing one...long story short...i felt so naked in my strapless dress, but then I put a veil on with it and felt a little more comfortable. I don't know if it will last the entire night though!!!
I've seen some people wear like a really pretty clip or something else noticeable in their hair instead of a veil, try that!

One of my cousins wore a rose in her hair instead of a veil. It looked really pretty.

I wore a veil because I always envisioned my dad lifting it up after walking me down the aisle. I never saw it as something particularly religious

I felt wierd with one but ended up with a very simple one....nothing poofy or dramatic and I am glad I did it...gave the whole bride effect for me!!! hahahah
