veil

I think a flower in hair is gorgeous....my friend is doing that and I am pretty certain it will be a real flower...

I love the idea of flowers inyour hair, but you can also do a very simple veil as well

What about instead of a flower if you did a hair comb, like the Regina B one that JenLen had?

yes, i was thinking of this too, i just am not sure how bridesy it looks to not do the veil, but it sounds like its cool not to do one

I think it was pegalega who had the most beautiful hair piece. It was big, but no gaudy and i think it would look fab with your dress and no veil!!!

I think if I went sans-veil my mother would have somethign to say, but no one else would even notice! But if you feel like you need a veil, I'm sure you can find a very very simple one that won't compete w/your dress, even if you only wear it for the ceremony.

also think with your dress you should try a mantilla veil, i know i told you this already and know what you said hahaha...but while youre at the store just try it on with the dress, no harm in doing so just to see how it looks with your dress

I was wrong, it was Mrsbartontobe and this isn't a great pic b/c the veil covers it, but I'm still looking - her hair looked gorgeous

I swear I was just going to suggest the same thing. You could just say I'm partial to them because I'm wearing one myself, BUT, I remember exactly what you're dress looks like and I happen to think that not only would it not overpower it or be too much, but it would be perfect. I really do. You can get lace to match the dress (if you want, that's what I did) and you can even have them put a few crystals on the lace as well to match the dress. I swear Helen, i think it will look stunning. I get the feeling from Denise's post that maybe you weren't so hot on them...but just give it a try. You might like it.

Mrsbartontobe did the mantilla veil with that clip too and it looked great. this way when you take the veil off (should you decide to use one) you are still sparkly and stuff!
