Veil during reception or no?

Veil during reception or no?

Girls who are married, did you wear your veil during your reception, or took it off?

and those not married yet, what do you plan on doing with the veil?

or is everyone suppose to take it off? the last couple of weddings ive been to, the girls dont have their veil during the reception?

me too. it didnt bother and i hardly noticed it when i was dancing so i left it in.

I plan on getting a second, shorter one for the reception. the one I got for the ceremony and pictures is a little longer than chapel length... so I don't want people stepping on it all night.

Mine fell out as we were taking pics outside the RH and I kept it off (because no one though to bring extra bobby pins )

i have a cathedral veil that is going to be 'bustled' for the first dance then I'll take it off

I have a 3 tier veil, covered with crystals and pearls. The 3rd tier is removeable and undecorated. I did it this way so that I could still have a blusher and wear the veil all night, without it being too much.
Think about it, when else in your life do you get to wear a veil?

hmmmm, the veil i want to purchase is very longgggggggg and a bit steep in price, so am not sure what to do with it, its to long to wear during the reception (its long than the train on my dress)

maybe i cant wear it during the first dance only...

At Kleinfeld they said theres a way to bustle my veil - I have a very long one too (also longer than my dress) but its so beautiful and I said I didnt want to take mine off but had to and they said they'll show me how to 'bustle' it .. Not even sure what that means but I go Aug 10th so I'll post something when they show me
