Hey ladies, so I am leaning towards half up/down hair. Just the top and sides up and curls...you know what I mean. Anyhoo I wanted my veil to be placed in low part of the back of my head. I don't want any veil poof on top. Will I be able to do this with half up/half down hair? I also wanted to wear it all night..any thoughts...pictures?

I think my SIL did her hair / veil that way as well. I don't have any pics, but it looked great!
I'm hoping to do something similar, since I don't want any veil poof either!

that is entirely possible. I don't have pics..but I did where my veil all night (figured when else am I going to get to wear a veil and tiara and ppl not think I'm crazy) the trick is to make sure it is on tight. I dance with it in and everything and it stayed put.

I wore my hair half up and then my stylist placed the comb for my veil under my curls.....
I am not sure if this is what you mean, but here are my pics from my wedding. Jenn the Hair Genie did my hair.

So I guess you have to have some sort of bun or something for the comb to stick into? ...something tight?

Here are some pics.. When you put the veil on it may look like a bun because of the tiara or head piece, but it doesnt have to be. Mine wasnt a bun.. I posted before the veil came on and other angles with the veil
although, as much as I wanted no poof, I had poof during our ceremony b/c my veil was stuck on my tiara

I had a very slim veil, so no poof. I had a gathering where the half hair up was pinned and the veil was tucked underneath. However, it was windy and I almost lost the veil a bunch of times, so make sure it's really tight. these are the only pics i have at work:
