My veil was free. The bridal shop couldn't honor a coupon they had distributed at a bridal show because they couldn't further discount my Maggie Sottero gown. So they let me pick my own veil and it was free

order your veil through Phyllis. A bridal shop wanted $500 for the veil I tired on...got it for $170 at Bridal Elegance.

i agree! go to phyllis! she has greqat quality veils for much cheaper than any other store.

i had a 2 tier veil and detachable cathedral. i LOVED them--they were so detailed! i got them about 3 weeks before my wedding. and she threw in a free blusher (which i didn't use--used the top tier)

the quality is great!

I'm not sure there is an average price for a veil. It depends on what you want. Do you want a fingertip or a cathedral length? Do you want ribbon edging, lace edging or crystals? Do you want a blusher or not? Do you want it on a comb or on a stick?

All of these things factor into the cost.

Okay, I'm clueless on this.

I want a comb. would like some some details, maybe crystals and finger length veil.

Mine actually was on a stick. But I remember the day I said it at Barrons. My mother laughed just as hard as we did over that thread!!

This is a picture of my veil. Mantilla style. Fingertip length. Lace edge (obviously), on a stick. Custom made at Barrons. Less than $150.

Mine was around $225 - custom made from Kleinfelds. 3 tier elbow length no edge, cathedral length piece was on velcro so I could remove after ceremony and pictures.

Seriously, you just have to go there. You will find something in your budget that you LOVE. Go there bright and early Saturday morning.
