Vendor Rave!!!

Shocking that this is about Camelot hahaha!!

So after all the RAVE REVIEWS about Joe from Camelot, i decided to call him yesterday to get a quote over the phone. He called me back a couple hours later and started asking questions about what i needed/wanted and where I was getting married and having the reception.

I let him know that I'm getting married in Riverhead and the reception is in Aquebogue. So this is how the rest of the conversation went:

Joe: So, you heard about me on LIWeddings right?
Me: Yes
Joe: So then you know I'm an honest person?
Me: Yes
Joe: I'd book a company in Suffolk, its going to cost you way more money to book with a company in Nassau. I dont want to see you pay more money if you dont need to. Heres two places you can call with the numbers.

HOW GREAT IS THAT?!?!?! HE COULDVE BEEN A JERK AND GIVEN ME A PRICE THAT WAS JACKED UP BECAUSE ITS SO FAR OUT EAST BUT HE WAS HONEST EVEN IF IT MEANT THAT HE DIDNT GET THE BUSINESS.

BIG FAN of him...sad I wont be using him but I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE call him!! Hes a sweet and honest guy!!

Out of curiousity (since I'm out in Suffolk) what companies did he recommend? FM me if you feel more comfortable...

He recommended Red Carpet 631-828-8464and Sir Oliver631-585-1600. We saw Red Carpet at a bridal show and was impressed, I may look into them

I'm getting married at VC too and had the same experience with him!!! So great.

I went with Sir Oliver- They quoted me hundreds less than any other company and were so nice. I absolutly recommend them!

I love vendors like him!!!

That is so great - nice to hear about honest vendors since what has been going on lately.

We are booked with Sir Oliver and are REALLY happy with them. We have the whole Suffolk thing too but FH lives out there so it kinda worked out for us even with the church and RH being in Nassau.
