I'd pick Tahiti, etc.

I think that if money isn't an issue, I'd go there. It just seems like such a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

But then again, I hear the nightlife is pretty quiet. So I guess you have to factor that into your decision too. That was our biggest reason for not going there. We like to go out at night and party.

yea i totally agree..i want to go there..because it is once in a lifetime..but on the other hand hawaii has the nightlife we are looking for as well..thats whats making this soo tough

It depends on the honeymoon you're looking for. It all depends on how many nights you want to just relax....

i think it would come down to what type of HM you are looking for...if you want relaxed and quiet then id say tahiti...but if you want a nightlife and alot more activities than hawaii. For months we were planning on going to tahiti, bora bora and moorea and then one day i was like WAIT FH HATES the beach, im not too fond of it and we need lots of things to do lol, so we changed it hahaha..it is absolutely gorgeous though and for example i know ppl would prefer more of that type of vacation, My MOH is a person who wants to relax on the beach all day, drinking cold drinks and doesnt care about lots of activities, everyone is different so just gotta find something that is perfect for you

yeah look up the activities and see how you feel about them...for me there were activities but most were water related and i dont swim lol. They do have a jeep tour that seemed interesting...ALSO if you book tahiti, bora bora and moorea make restaurant reservations RIGHT AWAY, theres not many of them and i read one LIW'ers review and she was talking about the most popular restaurant there but it only has very few tables and you have to book months in advance for reservations. FH and i just dont like being on vacation with a schedule, so we didnt want to book months from now the day and time we'd go to a restaurant, who knows how we'll feel that day. Plus at night there wasnt much to do, but like i said some ppl love this, so i say read the reviews, which one of them was sooo detailed and what made me go wait i dont know if this is what i want. Amazing pictures and all but personally for me and FH i realized it wasnt the best option...maybe after we have a kid and need to get away for a week and relax we'll do it

i agree both places are gorgeous. I think after you and your fh look at the activities, the islands, and just everything in general you will know exactly what is perfect for you
