YAAYYY! We booked yesterday at VYC for October 7, 2007! I AM SOOO EXCITED. FH LOVES the place, I was thrilled to see his excitement! I couldn't even sleep last night, I kept waking up thinking about our big day! I just wish there were some hotels closer, closest is Huntington Hilton or Melville Marriot. Which isn't too bad, and they provide shuttle bus to and from...so I guess I can't complain.

Yes it is - the renovations are coming along GREAT, they are nearly done, last night he showed us the upstairs bathrooms! Still not done but the vanity was beautiful! I can't believe my wedding will be there!

REALLY! The guy we booked with at VYC said it was free. Maybe you have to book a minimum of rooms??

Oh ok. Maybe VYC has an arrangement with the Hilton. I have no idea why we were told it was $675.00. I got married at Crest Hollow and they were supposed to be recommended by our RH too. We ended up not needing the shuttle service since most of my family stayed at another hotel and my DH's car was in our reception hall lot anyway.
