Venetian Yacht Club/Inn & Eastwind
Hi ladies!I had a few appts over the weekend and really liked the Venetian Yacht Club and the Eastwind Estate. I am having some trouble making a decision between the two. I have seen a lot of postings about Eastwind but not much about VYC (b/c it's fairly new). If anyone is willing to share some info about either it would be great. I am being rediculously indecisive! If anyone in intersted in quotes FM me.
Thanks!!

Re: Venetian Yacht Club/Inn & Eastwind
I've never been to the Venetian Yacht Club, but I booked the Estate at East Wind for my wedding. Everyone at East Wind is super friendly and they are really easy to work with. I'm getting married in December so I loved the whole feel of East Wind. Good Luck in your search and FM me if you have any other questions!

I have been to VYC when it was John Anthony's.. it was nice.. I didn't like the upstairs room where you looked out the window into a parking lot.. You have to be careful when change of ownership happens bc everything, including the food, will be new..

I'm not sure if the room has changed since they completely redone the upstairs or maybe I'm not that observant - but I don't really know what window looks at a parking lot. The whole back wall looks at the water. If you want to try food - I'm sure they will do a tasting for you. Also a bride got married there in January (review on brides review page) and I think she mentioned how great the food was. So far I've been nothing but impressed by the new ownership.
As for the East Wind - I've also been to weddings there and have nothing but good things to say about them.
I don't think you could go wrong with either choice!!

I'm not sure which room overlooks the parking lot. Both rooms have a full wall of windows that overlook the water and it's absolutely beautiful! What sold me was that if it rains (I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't) they setup the ceremony so that guests still have a view of the water.
I've never been to Eastwind so I can't comment on that place, but I love VYC. FM me if you want more details.

Thanks for all of your help & advice...We decided to go with VYC. I really loved both places but FH had his heart set on VYC. It's also a lot closer for our guests. I went there to see it Monday and booked the date last night and ton of work was done in two days. It's coming along beautifully!!!Thanks again!!

I liked East Wind. We went to FSIL's wedding there last Fall. the cocktail hour was great and the grounds were gorgeous. Her pictures came out beautifully.I ave never been to the VYC. Iheard it is nice there too though.
