Hi ladies! I am newbie here, just recently engaged and me and FH are looking for venues these next few weeks. I am very interested in VYC but just from the website. lol haven't seen it in person yet. Bu anyway, you are all getting me very excited, sounds like a really nice place. Cant wait to see it!!

Just wanted to let you girls know, in case you didn't see my post yesterday, that they put a new carpet in the downstairs room (regency.) If you're friends with them on facebook you can see what it looks like now, although it's not a great picture. And although it's much better than what was there...I'm still wondering who picked it

Really? Thats so funny b/c we were originally going to have the regency room for our reception but FH didn't like the carpet so we booked the upstairs room instead!

Haha I know! It was the one thing I didn't like about the VYC...like I even told my BM's that I loved the place except for the carpet in that room (it's where my cocktail hour is too.) And a lot of girls wrote on my other post about it that they hated the carpet too! They must have gotten a lot of complaints

I'm so excited! haha

I feel like I'm the only one not working with Guilio I had Daisy who I LOVED, but she left and went to Crestwood and now I have Samantha. She seemed really nice but...I don't know...Guilio seems to be everyone's fav!!

So ladies....i went to VYC today to show my FMIL since she is from out of town and I saw the new carpet.....it's still pretty ugly in my opinion...LOL!
